Are you fucking kidding me, I’ve never seen that before. Well, that’s the problem right there we simply don’t have the quality of journalists we once had. I feel like Tom Hanks should have come out and said, “what are you crying? There’s no crying in journalism.” Could you ever have imagined Edward Murrow doing the same thing?

“Texas!? The only things that come from Texas are
    steers and queers, son!”

  3. vacasillas says:

What we are denied every day on major networks with the truth!! thank you Amy Goodman ,Bill Moyers, and all the wonderful documnetaries… But what about the people who do not know how to seek the truth we are still in sad times.. It’s 2007 and it feels worse than 50 years ago except for you tube thank you!!!!

  4. mosfonotoc says:

Agree. Edward Murrow wouldn’t cry like a pussy. And he wouldn’t open his ass for repug liars. WTB real journalism.

  5. annarboriter says:

I never felt any more or less threatened by terrorism after 9-11. Yet the echo chamber created and imposed the message in the thinking of the sheeple. The media drove the news and reinforced the anxieties of the reporters and the ruling class.

  6. ogjimkenobi says:

I wish I could l hack the network at Fox News and have the channel run this continuosly on a loop for as long as it took them to regain control. That would be freaking excellent

  7. larma7 says:

Are you a member of the Brotherhood, comrade?

  8. smellyfooty says:

I guess ya hadda be there. I live near the WTC; the smell of burning & the plume of smoke, seeing the recovery workers, dusty & tired on the subway reminded you daily should you somehow forget. Still, I was incredulous when Bush invaded Iraq because there was no real evidence that Iraq had WMD’s.
