How to get a collection agency I have already paid to get the credit reporting agency to remove negative info?

I have already paid the collection agency for a "delinquent" account, but the negative info (the record of a collection) has not been removed from my report. What is the best (easiest, cheapest, least painful way) to get this removed once and for all from my report? I have already disputed this with the credit reporting agency (transunion) but have received nasty, computer-generated letters from them indicating that I have to show "proof" that this entry never should have been on my record in the first place. HELP!~

How much does a temp agency pay a company? How much should I request if I go permanent?

I just started at a good marketing company through a temp agency. Through the temp agency I get paid about an hour…how much do you think the temp agency makes with my employment? If I go permanent, I would like to get at leat an hour plus benefits…is this reasonable? Please help.
Sorry, i meant, how much does a company pay a temp agency? But anyways, thank you for your answers… I would like to hear few more responses. Does anyone have experience with temp to permanent hire? I consider myself skilled with a bachelor’s degree also seeking to get my MBA part-time in the Fall of this year…so I just wanted to know if my offer of 29% raise (from to /hr) is reasonable, especially if a temp agency is making about or more for every hour that I work. I have just started a recruitment agency but am finding it very difficult finding clients. Everyone just tells me that they have contracts with other recruitment agency’s.I am asking a cheaper rate that any other agency.

What government agency has jurisdiction over tax credit properties?

A lot of new apartment buildings are springing up especially in California and comprised of market rate apartments and tax credit units. Does anyone know what local, state, or federal agency (IRS, HUD, Housing and Community Development, Housing Authority, etc.) has compliance authority over tax credit property owners?
Thanks and here’s more detail: I am speaking of "affordable housing (apartments) to low income families who make 60, 50, and 35 per cent of the median income as determined by HUD. These properties receive funding from many different agencies including the federal low income tax credit program, the California Department of Housing and Urban Development and the California Finance Committee." They use the California Tax Credit Program receiving funds from HUD and administered thru the California Tax Credit Allocation Committee per the HUD mutlifamily and affordable housing guidelines manual 4350.1)
…compliance authority to assure that these properties act consistent with HUD 4350 and other regulations…..

How do you pick the best adoption agency?

My husband and I will (hopefully) begin the adoption process in September. We have been talking to AGAPE but I was wondering if there are other agencies I should consider using. And if we use one agency, can we still adopt children from other agencies? I just want to go with the best agency and would like a little feed back if anyone here has any experience in this situation. Thanks!

If you are employed through a temp agency is that considered a real job for the unemployment rate.?

If so I do not believe that temp jobs should be included in this average. Banks, apartment communities, etc do not consider temp agency jobs as stable work. Most companies who use temp agencies do not ever hire temp employees. Temp agencies are a burden on society the only ones that benefit are employers and the temp agencies.

How does a booking agency make money to pay the agents and their commission?

I know an independent agent makes their 10-15% commission from a bands gig but when you start a booking agency, how does the agency get the money to pay their agents commission they earn plus salary? Does the agent give part or all of the commission to the agency? How does that work?
