How to get into Market Research?

I am trying to get into market research in the Bay Area but there doesn’t seem to be many entry level opening I want to all the major job boards ang applied to few with no luck. So I wonder what’s the best way to get into this field. I have degree in Marketing and Management with years of experience in restaurant but no marketing experience.
