One Response to “what is difference between marketing research and market research?”

Ryan E Says:

Marketing research is typically used to help a marketing department make improvements to a good or service, or the way a good or service is advertised. Examples of common marketing research surveys are new product concept tests and print ad concept tests.

Market research is more often used to gain a "snapshot" of a particular market. For example, a market research survey of the home television market may report the typical gender, age, income level, and psychographic profile of home television buyers.
