I just got suckered into one of these timeshare presentations as well. I want out! Where can I get more information about the 7 day recision that you’re talking about? Can I just call them and cancel? How do I go about getting my deposit back?

I’m sorry you had an apparently bad experience. I used to work for the Welk resort and I will tell you that they are a PREMIER resort timeshare. I can’t talk on the behalf of the Welk resort as I am no longer employed, however, I would be happy to assist you in any way I can. I developed a good repore with the many departments that there are within the resort, and I will direct you as close as I possibly can to help you resolve your issue. You did have a 7 day recision policy that you should have executed, short of that, you don’t have much to recoup your deposit. You may email me through this link.

They will make it last for 3 hours, no way around it. These guys are hardcore. They will try to find out how much you spend on vacations annually, so lowball everything. You only go once or twice a year, you stay with family/friends, or you stay in a crap motel for $40 a night, you have an RV, you like tent camping or backpacking, you keep your vacations low-key. You get the idea. It will be easier if you don’t have children, because obviously children drive vacation costs way up. Just grit your teeth, keep saying no to everything, and never ever sign up for another one.
